2 1/2 pounds boneless pork chops
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 (6-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup crispy bacon crumbles (about 8 slices)
1/2 cup chopped green onions
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.
In a medium bowl, mix the mayo, cream cheese, bacon crumbles, green onion, and half of the cheddar cheese until fully combined.
Heat the oil in a large, oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
Season each side of the pork chops with pepper, salt, and garlic. Once the oil is hot, cook the pork chops for 1 minute on each side.
Pour the cheese mixture evenly over the pork chops. Drizzle the remaining shredded cheese over the top, then transfer the dish to the oven.
Bake for 10-14 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 145 degrees F, or until the pork chops are cooked fully through.
Garnish with additional green onions and bacon, then serve immediately.
