3 & 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup crushed chilis
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup water
1/2 tablespoon salt
1/2 cup water mixed with 1/2 cup corn starch
In a medium sized pot mix together the first 6 ingredients.
Add the water and cornstarch mixture. Stir until no lumps.
Return sauce to another slow boil for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Allow sauce to sit for one hour and then pout into a container. Store in refrigerator.
