Pecan Pie Cobbler
Ingredients
2 cups fresh pecans, chopped
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup granulated sugar
2 cups brown sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
Pinch of salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup milk
1/4 cup maple syrup
Dash of cinnamon
Ice cream or whipped cream for serving
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
In a mixing bowl, combine chopped pecans, all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, 1 cup of brown sugar, baking powder, and salt. Mix well.
Add vanilla extract, melted unsalted butter, and milk to the dry ingredients. Stir until smooth.
Pour the batter into the greased baking dish and spread it evenly.
In a separate bowl, mix brown sugar, chopped pecans, flour, melted butter, maple syrup, and cinnamon to make a crumbly topping.
Sprinkle the pecan crumble over the batter in the baking dish.
Bake the pecan pie cobbler for 40-45 minutes until golden brown and bubbling.
Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
