3/4 cup diced onion
1/2 cup diced green pepper
1/4 cup diced celery
1 tsp. chopped garlic
1 Tbls. butter OR margarine
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. ground mustard seed
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
12 oz. can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup condensed cream of celery soup
1 cup water
1/2 lb. crawfish meat OR ↓
1/2 lb. cubed chicken OR ↓
1/2 lb. raw, peeled shrimp
3 Tbls. sliced green onions
1 Tbls. chopped fresh parsley
3 cups Rice Pilaf
Saute garlic, onion, celery, and green pepper in butter until soft.
Stir in next 8 ingredients.
Bring to a simmer and continue cooking until meat is cooked through.
Stir in green onion and parsley.
Scoop 1/2 cup rice pilaf into center of 6 bowls or soup plates.
Pour Etouffee over rice.
10.75 oz. can condensed cream of celery soup
6 oz. can tuna in water – drained
2 cups cooked elbow macaroni
3/4 cup milk – low-fat okay
2 Tbls. parsley flakes
2 Tbls. chopped pimientos
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
2 Tbls. dry bread crumbs
Combine all ingredients, except bread crumbs, in a greased, oven-proof casserole dish.
Bake, uncovered, in 400 degree oven for 25 minutes.
Sprinkle bread crumbs on top and bake an additional 5 minutes.
3 cups cooked egg noodles
1 onion, chopped
2 stalks celery, diced
1 teaspoon butter
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can condensed cream of celery soup
1⁄2 cup mayonnaise
0.5 (10 1/2 ounce) can evaporated milk (can use regular milk)
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup frozen peas and carrot
2 (6 ounce) cans tuna, one drained
2 1⁄2 cups cheddar cheese, divided
1⁄2 cup crushed potato chips
Cook egg noodles according to package directions; drain and set aside.
In same pot, melt butter and sauté celery and onions until tender.
Combine all ingredients in large casserole, except for potato chips and 1/2 cup cheese.
Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.
Put cheese on top, then sprinkle top with potato chips.
Return to oven for a few minutes to melt cheese.
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
6 boneless pork chops
1 (16 ounce) package tater tots
1 (15.5 ounce) can French-style green beans, drained
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of celery soup
3/4 cup sour cream
salt and pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat, and brown pork chops on both sides. Remove chops, reserving pan dripping.
Arrange tater tots in a single layer in the prepared baking dish. Layer green beans over the tater tots. Place browned chops over the beans. In a bowl, mix reserved pan drippings, cream of celery soup, sour cream, salt, and pepper. Pour evenly over chops.
Cover dish with foil, and bake casserole 30 minutes in the preheated oven, or until pork chops are done.
