Garlic Butter Noodles

Ingredients

8 ounces spaghetti or linguine
4 tbsp unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp olive oil
¼ tsp red pepper flakes
2 tbsp chopped parsley
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

Cook noodles according to package directions; reserve ½ cup pasta water.

Melt butter and olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.

Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

Stir in red pepper flakes.

Toss cooked noodles in the garlic butter sauce.

Add a splash of pasta water if needed.

Season with salt and pepper.

Garnish with parsley and Parmesan before serving.
