Grandma Honey’s Corn and Oyster Casserole

Ingredients

1 quart oysters
2 ounce creamed style corn
1/2 cup light cream
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/8 teaspoon tobasco sauce
Ritz crackers
1 cup butter

Directions

Preheat oven to 375. Butter a 2 quart casserole dish.

Drain oysters and remove any shell. Chop coarsely

Mix corn, cream, salt, pepper, and tobasco.

Prepare 4 cups coarsely rolled cracker crumbs. Melt butter and toss with cracker crumbs.

Arrange crumbs, corn mixture, and oysters in a 2 quart casserole dish having three layers of crumbs, and two layers each of corn mixture, and oysters.

Bake at 375 for 40 minutes
