Baked Lemon Garlic Parmesan Crusted Shrimp

Ingredients

1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
3 cloves garlic, minced (more or less to taste)
2 Tbsp butter, melted
1 lemon zest plus juice
1 Tbsp fresh herb, chopped (Rosemary, dill, oregano, basil all work well)
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black Pepper
1/4 crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese or more to taste

Directions

Preheat to 400 degrees F. Butter a casserole dish and set aside.

In a large bowl, combine the shrimp, minced garlic, butter, lemon zest and juice, chopped herbs, salt, pepper, and optionally the crushed red pepper flakes.

Toss to coat the shrimp evenly. Put in your buttered casserole dish.

Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the shrimp mixture, ensuring each shrimp is well-coated.

Place in oven and cook for 6-8 minutes or until shrimp is firm and pink
