Tuscan Ribeye

Ingredients

1 1/2 teaspoons dried thyme
1 teaspoon dried oregano
2 teaspoons smoked paprika
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
1 teaspoon brown sugar
2 teaspoons salt
1 tablespoon olive oil, plus more as needed
2 (12-ounce) boneless rib-eye steaks, about 1-inch thick

Directions

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

Mix the thyme, oregano, paprika, cayenne pepper, black pepper, brown sugar, and salt in a small bowl.

Rub the steaks on both sides with the olive oil and the spice rub.

Place the steaks on the grill and cook until reaching your desired level of doneness, reading 135 degrees F for medium-rare, about 5-7 minutes per side.

Let the steaks rest for at least 15 minutes before slicing against the grain and serving!
