Traditional Greek Tzatziki (Garlic Cucumber Yogurt Dip)

Ingredients

1 cup (240 g) full-fat Greek yogurt
1 medium cucumber (about 150 g), grated and drained
2 cloves garlic, finely minced or grated
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon white wine vinegar or lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon salt (to taste)
1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill (optional)

Directions

Grate cucumber and squeeze out excess water using a cheesecloth or towel.

Combine yogurt, garlic, olive oil, vinegar or lemon juice, salt, and dill (if using) in a bowl.

Stir well until creamy and fully combined.

Chill for 30 minutes before serving for best flavor.

Serve cold, drizzled with a bit of olive oil if desired.
