Pecan Pie Dump Cake

Ingredients

1 box of yellow cake mix
1 cup of light corn syrup
3 eggs
1/2 cup of unsalted butter, melted
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
2 cups of pecan halves
Whipped cream or ice cream for serving (optional)

Directions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

In a mixing bowl, combine the yellow cake mix, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.

Spread the cake batter evenly into the prepared baking dish.

In a separate bowl, mix the light corn syrup and pecan halves.

Gently pour the pecan mixture over the cake batter in the baking dish.

Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the filling is set.

Once baked, remove the cake from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.

Serve slices of Pecan Pie Dump Cake with a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of ice cream for a decadent treat.
