Drunk Pecan Pie Bread Pudding
Ingredients
    1 loaf of bread (preferably day-old)
    1 cup pecans
    4 eggs
    2 cups milk (or non-dairy alternative for vegan version)
    1 cup brown sugar
    1/2 cup bourbon
    1 tsp cinnamon
    1 tsp vanilla extract
    1/2 tsp salt
Directions
Preheat oven and grease a baking dish.
Cut the loaf of bread into cubes and place them in the prepared baking dish.
In a mixing bowl, combine eggs, milk, brown sugar, bourbon, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix well.
Pour the mixture over the bread cubes, ensuring all bread is coated. Let it sit to absorb the liquid.
Sprinkle pecans on top of the bread mixture.
Bake until golden brown and set.
Let it cool slightly before serving. Optional: drizzle with additional bourbon sauce.
