Italian Dipping Oil

Ingredients

1 cup Extra virgin olive oil
3 – 4 large garlic cloves, grated or chopped fine
1 Tbs Italian seasoning *
1 Tsp salt
1/2 Tsp black pepper
1/4 to 1/2 Tsp crushed red pepper flakes (to taste)
1/2 Tsp sugar (optional)

Directions

Add all ingredients to a small sauce pan.

Cook on lowest heat to simmer.

Allow to simmer slowly for 5 minutes.

Turn off heat, allow to cool in pan.

Once cooled pour into an air tight container.

* You can also use a combination of Oregano, Basil, Thyme, and crushed Rosemary to equal the 1 Tbs if you do not have Italian seasoning.

To use:
Stir and spoon as much needed into a shallow bowl. Optionally you can drizzle a little Balsamic vinegar on top of the oil.
