Sausage And Hash Brown Casserole

Ingredients

1 pound breakfast sausage diced, cooked
2 tablespoons flour
1 ½ cups milk whole milk
16 ounces hash browns frozen
1 cup green onions 4-5 stalks, diced
1½ cups Cheddar shredded, about 6 ounces

Directions

Use a large skillet to cook sausages over medium-high heat until brown. About 5 minutes. Sprinkle with flour and add milk. Bring to a boil.

Stir frequently. Reduce heat to medium and simmer until the sauce begins to thicken. About 1 minute.

Spread the shredded hash browns on the bottom of the baking dish.

Pour the sausage mixture over the hash browns. Top with green onions and shredded Cheddar cheese.

Bake for 40-45 minutes.
