Sausage Cream Cheese Crescents

Ingredients

1 pound breakfast sausage (mild or spicy)
8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 rolls per can)
Optional: ¼ cup chopped green onions or chives

Directions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

In a large skillet over medium heat, cook sausage until browned and crumbled. Drain excess fat.

In a bowl, combine cooked sausage with cream cheese until fully mixed. Stir in green onions if using.

Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles.

Place a heaping spoonful of sausage-cream cheese mixture near the wide end of each triangle.

Roll up, starting from the wide end toward the point, tucking in sides as needed.

Place rolls on prepared baking sheet, point side down. Bake 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown.

Serve warm!
