Italian Meatballs 2


1 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. ground pork
1/3 cup dry bread crumbs
4 cloves garlic – minced
2 eggs – lightly beaten
1 sm. yellow onion – minced
3 Tbls. grated Parmesan cheese
3 Tbls. grated Romano cheese
3 Tbls. minced fresh Italian parsley
3 Tbls. minced fresh basil
salt and pepper – to taste
1 cup olive oil


Combine all ingredients, except olive oil, and form into 1 1/2″ balls.

Pour olive oil in a 13″ X 9″ X 2″ baking dish and place meatballs on top; swirl pan around to coat meatballs in oil.

Bake in a 400 degree oven for 20 minutes, or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
